This site was for a new business. Our user-based design process revealed unanswered questions that helped the clients plan and prepare for their launch. One unique (for us) aspect of the website was offering the ability to book retreats. We found a right-sized plugin for the job, and it has been working well! References available on request.

A Scope of Work (SOW) document is a formal document that defines the specific tasks, deliverables, timelines, and expectations for a particular project or contract. It serves as a guide to ensure both parties (usually the client and the contractor/service provider) have a clear understanding of what is to be accomplished, how it will be done, and the standards or guidelines to be followed.
Building the scope of work was a bit of a challenge because the client asked for a lot of things and were still not sure themselves what exactly they wanted the website to focus on.
Wireframe PDF
A wireframe is a visual blueprint or schematic representation of a website’s layout, structure, and functionality. It serves as a basic framework that outlines the arrangement of elements like headers, footers, content areas, buttons, and other key components without focusing on design details such as colors, text, or images. Wireframes help designers, developers, and stakeholders plan the user experience (UX) and ensure a clear, functional website structure before moving on to more detailed design and development stages.
Building the wireframe of the home page was one of the more fun (for us) parts of designing the website. The client gave us good starting points, and we were no longer in unfamiliar territory.

User Stories and Flows PDF
User stories and flows are tools used in development to define and map out user interactions with a system. A user story is a brief, simple description of a feature or functionality from the perspective of an end user, typically following the format: “As a [user], I want to [do something] so that I can [achieve a goal].” This helps prioritize development based on user needs. A user flow is a visual representation of the steps a user takes to complete a task or goal within an application or website. It outlines the sequence of interactions and decisions a user makes, ensuring a smooth and intuitive experience by mapping out the logical progression of actions. Together, user stories and flows guide the design and development process, ensuring the product meets user expectations and delivers a seamless experience.
The client helps the children of dying parents support them in their transition in all ways, including spiritually. For us, building the user stories was difficult because we had to imagine reasons for potential clients to want this service. It was deep, unique, and (to us) expensive. What a range of user profiles need to see to convince them of the value?
